It's a tricky balance trying to keep everyone happy, but at the end of the day - not everyone can make the cut. ✂️✂️✂️

So it's time to share - who made your list??

First question.... are you inviting kids? Did you have a cut-off based on age, or did you go adults only?

Next Question: Are you inviting cousins?

Yes we are inviting all kids. They are part of the family too. Also, imo kids should attend weddings to know what to expect as a teen or adults

No kids except for my godson, but by the time we get married he will be 11 so he really isn't a kid anymore...

Yeah out of 66 guests 16 are minors. 6 of those minors are under 5. I didn't want to risk losing a VIP because they couldn't get a babysitter.

Sane with my FH family. He has 2 sisters and 5 kids between them, his Best Man has 2 kids under 5. Pretty much his entire family couldn't be there unless we invited them. But,we're having a Star Wars wedding, so there will be plenty of stuff for them to do Smiley smile

The only kids openly invited are my nephews and nieces (most because they are in the wedding party and the rest because MOB would have a fit if we tried to not include the rest). The rest of the guests are getting specifically addressed invitations in the hopes that it will deter them from bringing kids.

We aren't having a ring bearer or flower girl and our venue isn't very kid/baby-friendly. The only kids we are inviting are our nieces and nephews, a majority of which are teenagers or older. We only have 4 invited that are under the age of 12: one nephew is 7, twins are 6 and FH's niece is 5.

My cousin's 2 kids are invited but that's mainly because they're 11 and 12, and because her husband is our photographer. Those are the only non-niece/nephews invited but excluding other kids really didn't affect many of our guests, as the few that have younger children are coworkers/friends that don't plan on bringing them anyway.

Yes!!! I have 11 nieces and nephews and he has 4 nieces. I'd be heartbroken if they weren't there!

No children are invited (only 21+) besides my nieces and nephew, who are in the wedding!

Yes, but only if they belong to a family member. I am the oldest of the cousins on both sides of my family and there's just a small few who really qualify as kids.

So our guest list is at 150. Most of that is family and very close friends. We decided on no little kids. The youngest person that will be invited will be a cousins' that will be like 13 or older.

There are almost as many kids in my family than adults! Plus hubby has 3 younger siblings (4, 9, and 10). We feel that kids are a big part of our lives and wanted them to celebrate with us!

At my wedding absolutely No kids allowed except the wedding party kids because the venue where I’m having my wedding at it’s all vintage and it’s a mansion from the 1900’s. Everything is original from bedrooms to China dishes and we sign a contract if anything gets damaged my parents are responsible and they charge a few $1,000’s so we told every family members on my side from my parents and my fiancé parents side no kids allow at all we’re charging a $1,000 per child. Under the age of 10-3 years old I have a few family members who don’t watch their kids anyway so I told them no kids they will damage the place and my stuff and I will end up being the bride from hell in my wedding day and I don’t want that at all. Teenagers are welcome tho from 13-18 are fine because I’m having some lawn games and treat tables and photo booth so that will entertain them.

I am making the list, A lot of people in my family have kids so I'm wondering if I should invite them all or not. I know I'm having my niece in it.

No children except for the only one in the bridal party and three other younger cousins. No others!
