Are Wedding Programs a Must?

Do you really have to have these still, or is this one of those "nice" things to have? Any way to cut costs here?

I don't think so. We aren't having programs.

Honestly from where I'm from (Oregon) they seem completely unnecessary. The only time they are nice is when they can double as a fan in a hot summer wedding. I would cut it... in reality I have!

We didn't budget for them and don't feel that they are necessary. We will likely incorporate some of the information included in programs on a large welcome sign. Something like this photo.

This makes me feel so much better, we're not doing any special songs or even having a lengthy ceremony so I think we're definitely going to cut this expense out! Thanks so much for the guidance ladies!

    Not really a necessary thing.
You can make one large sign and post it outside the entrance area and decorate olit beautifully. It also saves you about 500 or more. Good luck

We're not doing them. Instead we are having an itinerary type deal blown up and set on an easel outside so people will know whats going on.
