So my co worker showed me her wedding invitations and she included direction cards with her invites. I have been invited to weddings before and they didn't include directions card with their invitations which isn't a problem for me because I can the address in my GPS. However I'm kind of concerned for the older guest.

Did you include direction cards? why or why not?

We didn't do direction cards, but I included turn-by-turn driving directions on our website and we included the link to our website on our STD and on an enclosure card.

Skipped them, my family has been there several times and with GPS, no need to. The hall, hotel and church are all off of one street.

Yes, I did because more than half my guests are out of town

We did not have a direction card just an insert for hotel information.

Nope. Put "more information on our website" and there's a map on there ....

Our venue is a very well known historical landmark hotel in the center of town, so we skipped direction cards. Everyone knows where it is except a small number of out of towners who will probably be traveling with one of our parents. I saw base you decision on how well known your venue is by name.

I was thinking of renting a coach bus for the day to bringg guests to the event and drop them off at a place convenient enough to grab a taxi/bus home, so I figured direction cards are not necessary.

We did but only because Google maps has a hard time with it... Plus there's a designated area for parking and we were able to put that on the directions.

In 2015, there's no need! Ware however including directions from the church to the reception venue on the programs, not in the invite. The only reason we're doing this is because the GPS route from the church to the reception takes you through a REALLY bad area of New Jersey, so we want our guests to avoid that Smiley winking.
