Are Satin dresses old-fashioned

That dress is gorgeous and you look amazing! There's nothing "old-fashioned" about satin - it's classic and glamorous. I bought a satin dress as well.

My dress is satin and I am in love with it. I think it's timeless, but mine definitely has a 20s Hollywood glam vibe to it. Also, you look INCREDIBLE. Hourglass figure is on point. Please buy that dress.

Satin is definitely not old-fashioned! Also remember that you want to look stunning on your wedding day AND still think you look stunning when you look back on your pictures years from now. That dress is gorgeous and classic and looks amazing on you!

Mine is satin, it's probably my favorite fabric. That dress you posted looks STUNNING on you. I wouldn't even think twice. Ignore the people who say it's old fashioned and go get it

I live the dress you want to buy, it's beautiful. I think fabric choice has a lot to do with season you are getting married, formality of wedding, if you are going to be outdoora or indoors, etc. I think every fabric has its place because of that, there are no "old-fashioned fabrics".

I think it really depends on the rest of the look of the dress. The satin works great on the dress you have on, honestly.

I find it more old fashioned to have satin seat covers and table linens than a satin dress lol
