Arch decorations

Our venue has an arch already in place. We will have to decorate it ourself. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful pictures, but I’m not sure how to execute. How do you go about wrapping an arch with greenery or securing decorations.

Most flower arrangements are on cages and they're secured with zip ties, at least from what I've seen. You can find tons of tutorials on Pinterest or YouTube.

Agree with Caytlyn; daughter's florist used zipties (you can buy them at Home Depot, etc., in varying lengths/strengths depending on the thickness of the boards you'll be attaching stuff to). Just be sure whoever will be attaching stuff brings a pair of clippers strong enough to easily cut on the extra after they are tightened -- the thicker ones can be hard to cut with regular scissors.

Hi Paige!
Do you have any inspiration pics of what you would like the arch to look like for your ceremony? Are you planning on decorating with flowers or tulle, or will it just be greenery and some other decorations?
As the PPs mentioned, I think zip ties will be the best option for securing any decorations to the arch👌

It's difficult to tell what type of material that is, but it doesn't seem to be super heavy. You want something that looks light and airy. Do you have a fabric retailer in your area that you would be able to see how different materials hang?
This arch is beautifully decorated though! Will you also use white material?
