Appropriate Wedding Dress for a 52 year old bride

I have been having a heck of a time finding a dress. I was looking for something on the sophisticated side that is age appropriate. I think this dress may be the one but I am still a little nervous about it. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks so much.

My wedding day was also my 56th birthday. I'd actually planned just to wear something I already owned, not a "wedding" dress. But NotFroofy, who was 41 and had never previously been married, really wanted a wedding dress, and I figured I should probably coordinate with her. So I wore a strapless dress (the first one I'd ever worn), in ivory, with a train. (I'm the one on the right in my icon.) Really, you can wear whatever looks good on you, regardless of age.
