How about an antique cut moissanite? I just ordered an old mine cut from Fire and Brilliance and LOVE it.


I'm hoping to find an old sterling silver ring with some tarnish on it, and I'd love to set it with a 6×8 elongated antique cushion.

The stones for my engagement ring came from my husband's grandmothers wedding and engagement rings. I tried to keep the vibe of her rings in the design of my ring. The ring isn't vintage, but the inspiration definitely is. I think vintage jewelry is timeless It was very challenging to find a wedding band that went along with it, since I had specific size diamonds to work with for the engagement ring, so it is not a typical shape.

These are so pretty! I don't have an antique ring, but my mum does! When they got married in 1968, you didn't have to pay sales tax on antiques (meaning anything over 100 years old), so they chose this beautiful natural ruby and pearl ring. Here it is with my pad sapphire:

I like to imagine how much the original wearer loved it, who gave it to them, etc.
