So I just went to Kay's and had my ring cleaned, I've gone before and what normally happens is they clean it right in front of me and give right back and say have a nice day(I've been to 2 different locations). Fast forward to today I go in a different location (moved) and she takes it and actually inspects it in front of a microscopic. She informs me that one of my smaller diamonds is chipped and she will send it off to be fixed. She gets on her computer and asks when was my last inspection I tell her I'm not sure of the date but I tell her the location. She says she has no record of it and they should've given me an inspection form after they cleaned the ring (NEVER GOT THAT) and that since there is no record of my last inspection I have to PAY for them to fix it. THEN goes on to say but if they had the record on file I wouldn't have to pay for them to fix it... whaaaat?
