Anyone wearing different dress for reception?

Im wearing my gown at the reception also ....I only have 1 day to wear my dress and to show off my beauty in it.....But to each its own...if that's what u would like to do do it ....Remember it's your day😇

I got a killer deal on my dress ($99!!). I decided to splurge on a second dress for the reception that will fit our Harlem Renaissance theme.

They make dresses that have detachable skirts, or you could have one custom made so you're technically wearing the same dress but you can put on a poofy skirt for the ceremony and take it off for the reception.

I think you should wear the dress you want to wear, and not worry about what your FH wants you to wear. You're the bride, it's your dress, wear the dress you envisioned. He will think you're beautiful no matter what.

If it's in your budget and you wish to do this, GO FOR IT. I love the trend of a different reception dress. My reception dress was an adorable tea length dress I'm keeping! I want to wear to to Vegas or anniversary dinner (uh, except I gotta lose the weight I put back on after the wedding. )

I agree w/ PP that you should wear what you want. I considered two dresses but didn’t want to deal with the hassle of changing. Will your FH really care once he sees you anyway? Lol I don’t think it will make or break things. I’m sure he’ll think you look just as beautiful..plus you’ll be happy you chose what you wanted!

I just told him I like this look and his response was "Yeah I like the idea of a turtle neck wedding dress now" lol

I am .. mostly becuase even though after alterations my dress will total 2400 . I feel more comfortable in black .. i am waiting for it to arrive .. hopefully it works .. the lady questioned my measurments .. who i ordered my dress from
