Anyone wear an Enzoani dress/ or a mermaid dress to the reception? Is it hard to move? Help

Tiffany, on January 28, 2022 at 7:53 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 2 9

I need help my fellow lovely brides!!-- I have been stuck for about 30 days now and REALLY torn between two dresses. One of the bridal stores actually told me that one of the dresses, well I can now get it for 50% off and I am just thinking of getting them both. It will now fit in my budget. Not sure if it is a sign?

I have never been the person to want a wedding/ not really excited about dress shopping but I knew I loved this dress inspired by Hailey Bieber (with long sleeves).

Dress #1: for ceremony?: (I know it's not fitted)

But then I reallllllly loved this other Enzoani dress that is also a mermaid/ fit n flare.

Dress #2: (I want for the 1st dance and reception and the bustle would just make it volumous) I love the glam look of this.

I just wanted to know if it's difficult to dance in a mermaid dress?? The lady in the store said it's made out of yoga pant material.. but I'm still going to go back to try it on. Ever since I tried dress #2, all I can think about is dancing in it with my FH for our 1st dance. And dress #1, I just really want to get married in during the ceremony.

Background: I work in healthcare and it's supperrrrr hard lately to even have time to think about the wedding/ dress but I know I need to make a decision now. Am I being crazy for now thinking of getting both! My parents aren't super supportive but understandably, this will be their first american wedding to go to and I am footing the bill. I feel like I'm going crazy in deciding and only thought about it since yesterday my sweet FH mentioned that since it's unlike me to ever even want two to get it. (He's the one who actually wanted this dream wedding lol) I just keep feeling like everyone is going to judge me for 2 dresses especially if the second one isn't slinky

I can't see the second picture, but I thought I'd try to offer my advice. I worked in bridal for 3.5 years- it honestly depends on the dress. I think it's a great idea to go back and try it on again, and really test out your dance moves in it- some mermaids have a stretchy underlay that mean you can move comfortably, some are stiffer and movement is more limited. It all comes down to what you are comfortable with.

The saleswoman said it's stretchy yoga pant material but I will go back and see how it is with the sit test and dance test Smiley smile I would get the train shortened or bustled

They’re both gorgeous gowns and I can definitely see what kind of bridal gowns you like. I wonder what the second dress would look like if you added sleeves like the first dress had. Could be something to consider trying on when you go back!

In my honest opinion. Those dresses are so similar that I am unsure I would realize you were wearing a different dress. I do understand that they are different in a lot of ways...but just a casual viewing not really as they give me the same impression.

First let me see that gown is absolutely stunning!!! Just to be clear is that the first or the second gown?? In having two dresses and I am not sorry. My first dress is a mermaid gown which I think would be hard to dance in but I bought a second one that is very easy to move around in and dance in, but it did not feel like a wedding gown to me. Some people have opinions about wearing 2 gowns Anyone wear an Enzoani dress/ or a mermaid dress to the reception? Is it hard to move? Help 3

Both are amazing! If it's in your budget, I think it's the way to go!!! My niece is looking for a Hailey Bieber type gown! Do you remember the name of the first one?

If it fits in your budget and you want to do it, then do it! I agree that they are similar enough that as a third party viewer, I would probably not notice. People will either judge your or not care, at the end of the day it's YOUR day!
