Yet again the puppy was found wondering in the streets and one of my friends picked it up and im helping him grow as well as my other dog whos mothering him and hes going great hes actually off the bottle now and now on wethard food but about this dog im actually going to keep her because i had already talked to a shelter and they said they are compleatly full and cannot take her and if they do take her in they wont be able to provide her with the full care that i can give her such as daily walks her full high quality nutricion and vet bills now that shes pregnant im going to monitor her and her pregnancy and with the pups whenever they are ready to go home they will be rehomed. another point i forgot to mention is that when i do rehome animals i do check out the family first i dont just give it to anyone if they are intrested they have to meet certain requirements that i have. Also about how they dont get along so great my future father in law will babysitt my 2dogs just do the yorkie

That was a great thing you did rescuing her off the street! My daughter got her yorkie Lilly that way. Lilly's mom was pregnant and apparently kicked to the curb too. I understand what snaps is trying to say after having worked for a rescue myself. Good rescue groups screen their prospective adoptive families to make sure they find the right fit for each dog and the family is educated about caring for dogs. People often get sucked into the "cuteness" of a yorkie, (or any breed or puppy) without understanding the terrier personality that some of these dogs possess. It would also be good to contact a resuce because if she is pregnant, they will also be responsible for the vet costs, puppies (who knows what they are??) She may need medical intervention to deliver.

I would personally trust a yorkie around small children way more than a pit bully, yes some terriers are yapp happy and territorial and obviously you want to monitor the kids around the dog..but if a yorkie were to be aggressive and snap as any dog has the potential to do, you are not looking at a major injury but with a pit bull you most certainly would be, it would be difficult for you to intervene and you could be looking at death for a small child. it has happened time and time again and yet how often do you hear of a yorkie mauling a child to death or even serious injury? seriously..there mouths are as small as they are and even then, they do more of the nippy without biting down where a pit bull locks its jaws, wayyyyyyy more dangerous.

Awwwn, the Yorkie looks real beautiful. Hopefully, it finds a loving home but have you paused to think how does my dog feel when rehomed ?
