Anyone Used Light In The Box?

I purchased a MOB dress from them for my 1st daughter's wedding. The color was not at all what I ordered and it ran small. They were not going to accept a return until I sent them pics proving the color was wrong. This was a few years ago but I would not recommend buying a dress online that you could not easily return. It's better to go try some on anyway since bridal sizes are so weird.

I ordered a wedding dress from them. It was pretty, but the color was off. The dress was white (as expected) but the ribbon that was sewn into the dress was purple.... was supposed to be white. I sent it back. They sent me a new one. Same problem. Luckily (and after reading several reviews I realize I'm one of very few) I returned the dress and got my money back. The entire process started in November and ended in February. It take a long time to receive your items because they are straight out of China. Anyways, as others will tell you, they are knock offs from other reputable designers. I put a picture of the light in the box dress in this post. You can see the ribbon is clearly purple.

I purchased my dress from them for my first wedding. I would not recommend them. The material was very cheap and the dress was shorter than expected (and I'm 5'0"). I also think the structure/cut of the dress was weird. Definitely felt like a knock off.

I'd recommend checking out David's Bridal or a boutique's sample sale instead.

Can you get your dress altered so it's easier for you to sit in?

@mel unfortunately no. It's a mermaid and I'm pretty curvy, so it fits perfectly. If I have it altered it will change the look too much. I didn't try to sit for long enough when I tried it on , like a dummy.

I would definitely NOT order from them. They sell knock-off wedding dresses, essentially stealing the intellectual property of hundreds of designers. Also, if you read their reviews they are shit. I wouldn't spend the money. Why not go to a bridal consignment shop if you want to get something relatively inexpensive?

ETA words & they ship from China and many reviews complain of not receiving their items/not getting them for months.

I used them for my BM dresses. I would recommend using the custom feature and send in your measurements. I love my dresses and didn't have to alter them. Plan on about 4-6 weeks to come in.

I have used them for my shoes, and bought cufflinks for FH .. love them both very much, now I bought my dress from DressilyMe.com, custom made from my measurements fits like a glove and was only 238.00 took 28 days to be delivered to my door and they have beautiful dresses!!Here's my dress sweetheart neckline, ballgown, but they do have alot of different dresses !! Yes, I ordered a custom made dress for my mother on there and it was all messed up. She has a 57.5" bust and they inserted B cup inserts without asking about cup size. My mother is a DD.

I recommend going to a boutique and shopping clearance but if you do shop online, I've had pretty good luck with jjshouse. My MOH and a jr bridesmaid got dresses from there and they were perfect. Good material too. But you can't compare bridesmaid dresses with a brides dress.

You gotta learn to sit in a mermaid dress, it usually requires you to be perched on the chair and helps to lift the dress at the thighs as you sit

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from there, as did my sister and also one of her friends - eight dresses between the three of us. We did all pay extra for the custom measurements and were all happy with the end results. If you do go with them, use a throwaway email address though because unsubscribing is impossible, no matter how many times you try.

I ordered shoes, that i later decided not to wear for the wedding, and ordered JrBM shoes from there.... they are really nice shoes..., fits perfectly.... it does. take a while to get orders.... but I was too scared to order wedding dress from there....

I've always wondered if these Chinese dress sites are so great, why don't they design their own fabulous wedding dresses?

I ordered my shoes from them; the buckle is weird so I'm only planning to wear them during the ceremony and I'll switch into something sturdier for the reception. It was easy and cheap but I wouldn't recommend ordering your dress from there.

I have used it a lot...some things take a little long.. And some things looked cheap but most of what i got is good

I purchased some hair accessories. They were ok, can tell they are cheap. You get what you pay for.
