Anyone trying to buy a house while planning a wedding?

I know it sounds insane, but FH's brother and SIL did it and it worked out great. They closed a week before the wedding. The day after their wedding (they hadn't moved in yet) he carried her over the threshold of their very first house together. We took pictures...it was great! So how many have you...

I know it sounds insane, but FH's brother and SIL did it and it worked out great. They closed a week before the wedding. The day after their wedding (they hadn't moved in yet) he carried her over the threshold of their very first house together. We took pictures...it was great! So how many have you dared to stress yourself out with 2 major "purchases" at once?

    Yes we are doing it Smiley smile we are actually going to start looking for houses in a few months. we are just lucky all the big stuff is booked so we can focus more on the house for a little bit.. but then back to the wedding. We have two accounts, the wedding fund and the house fund Smiley smile

    I would love to come back from the honey moon with my FH into our new home!!! It's going to take a lot of work and patience saving for a home and a wedding but I definitely believe it will be very well worth it!!! Can't wait!
