Anyone know any flower donation charities in La?

Justine, on May 11, 2018 at 6:00 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 11

I wanted to donate my flowers after the event but the only place I can find that does that in the LA area is Repeat Roses, but they are a for-profit company and want a minimum of $1500 (which of course I do not have) in order to donate my flowers. Does anyone know any other charity organizations that I could use to donate my flowers in the Los Angeles area? I found a company called Blooms of the Heart listed on Offbeat Bride but they appear to have gone out of business.

Any local nursing home or retirement residence would be happy to have them.

That's what we plan on doing is taking the bouquets and centerpieces to nursing homes and the local hospital.

Are any of your guests involved with a scout troop or another youth group that might be willing to pick them up at the end of the night and deliver them to a nursing home or rehabilitation center the next day? If you'd rather not have to worry about doing it yourself, you might find a group who would love to do it as a service project. Smiley heart

You could contact a local VFW or other veterans organization that could pick them up and bring them to a veterans home after.

A local children's hospital is also a great place to bring them.

We ended up donating them to a retirement home. My mother in law took them over after the wedding Smiley smile
