Anyone else wearing fancy Converse sneakers in lieu of heels/flats?

I’m wearing glitter Keds with my dress. Getting married at the beach and can’t go barefoot due to having sticks, pine cones and such on the sand, I had limited options. But I love my Keds.

I love those! Wanted to do that for mine, but it wouldn't look right with the style of dress in wearing...plus my dress isn't that long

I wore my converses for the ceremony and reception. My husband wore his after our first dance. They were specially decorated by my decorator. I Iove converses so much and wanted to be comfortable. I wore a ballgown so you couldn't see them unless I showed them to people. My husband's uncle didn't believe his wife when she told him that's what I was wearing on my feet until I showed him she was right.

I am not but these were my sisters shoes when she got married. Her wedding was outside so it made sense but mine is inside and more formal.

I’m gonna have to wear some kind of socks with them because the inside ankle area is a bit rough. Any idea what I should wear?

I will be wearing chucks after the ceremony for pics and reception. And all the wedding party will be in chucks as well.

I got the rose gold Kate spade keds! I love my choice, some people haven’t agreed but I want to be comfortable on my wedding day!

I'm getting white high tops with our date on them to wear for mine. We're having a pretty formal ceremony so hopefully they won't be obviois but our reception is going to be much more casual so I'm not worried about it there.
