Anyone else sprouting gray hair all of a sudden?

SewBikeLove, on January 21, 2016 at 11:14 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

So I started growing so much grey lately. Wonder if it's all the stress from planning. I don't dye my hair so I'll just rock it. But they have been growing like crazy and sticking straight up like fly aways!!

Bio silk will help tame the fly aways... and I'm sure no one will be combing your hair at the event so no worries! I'm sure it will go unnoticed! Try to relax! It's all going to work out! Congratulations!

I am! And I'm not even 26... I also have a 6 year old step son and our 14 month old daughter add wedding planning and now I'm turning grey! (It's also hereditary in my family to go grey early) so now I have to really keep up with dyeing my hair!

I had one over the summer and I'm 21. I thought I was a pretty relaxed person!

Ive been going gray since 16! I am a brunette so they stick out like a sore thumb! I started lightening my hair over summer getting a few more highlights every time I go to get my hair cut so they are less noticeable and i can get away with not going to salon longer

I started going grey shortly after I started my first job at 23. Now, 10 years later, I get my hair dyed regularly. Like every 5 weeks regularly. And even then it's starting to creep back in the week before I go to the salon.

I recently decided to stop dying my hair, aside from my purple streak in the back, and all my grays are popping out now. I didn't realize I had so many, but not really caring. I was tired with the expense to dye. Gonna be rocking the silver at my wedding too!

Yep. Sigh. They used to just be mostly underneath where they weren't visible, but now they are appearing right on the top of my head. STOP.

Thanks ladies. I have an older sister with no grey/white hairs (or so she says) lol Hereditary maybe on my father's side. Think I'll give bio silk a try I have actually heard good things about it.

At one point I used to go over them with mascara to hid them real quick while doing my make-up. But I sort of got lazy and stopped using mascara all together. Lol

Yuuup. Just a few days ago I noticed that one of my white hairs was the length of the rest of my hair. The whites are usually short pieces sticking up at the top, so seeing a long one kind of freaked me out.

I do think it can be stress related. I didn't really have any at all until a particularly rough work period. I was traveling for three weeks for that and came back and half of my scalp was white.
