We’re not planning on doing these for a few reasons. A large majority of the guests are not single (I mean there are several that are legally single, but in serious relationships and I don’t think they’d consider themselves single for the sake of this tradition). And also I feel really awkward about both. Especially the garter toss - for obvious reasons. But also bouquet toss - just uncomfortable to me for some reason.

So I’m curious if any other couples are skipping these traditions? Are you replacing them with anything? Do both you and your fiancé want to skip them or do you have different opinions?

We're skipping them both. They're both kinda weird and never really understood them. A family member had a wedding this past summer and I was FORCED to stand there for the bouquet toss even though my FH and I were already engaged for 6 months haha.
