Me and my S/O are paying cash for the wedding and honestly don't know if I should pay my debt first or save for wedding and honeymoon first...either way I have a lot to save and I'm stressed already. Please someone help!

Debt first!! We've done his course twice and it's so worth it in the end. To know we have saved are able to have wedding we want without worrying about $$ is a blessing. So it was was worth the pushing it out a year for us.

If I do push the wedding it would be 2024 before another Saturday on our anniversary... the big wedding is more for my FH than for me I wanted the elopement package which is only 3k his wedding is 16k..

A lot of you are getting the baby steps wrong. If you're already engaged, you drop all debt payments to their minimums and pile up cash for a wedding....You pause baby step 2 temporarily.

I swear on his podcast he taught if you get engaged you pause your debt snowball and cash flow the wedding...as long as it’s not a ridiculously expensive wedding and you don’t take out additional debt for the wedding. I’m a lawyer and it’s going to take me years to pay off my debt so I can’t see waiting that long to get married.
