Anyone else have a cat that tries to "eat" your engagement ring??

I don't know what is up with him lately, but he is constantly trying to naw on it. I'm not sure whether I should chuckle or worry he might actually loosen it.... :\

My cat likes to rub his face on it. I keep telling him that it can't be comfortable, but he doesn't believe me.

Your cat might like it cuz its hard, i know my cat likes rubbing her face on hard angled things, like bed frames or whatever. I can see how a ring might be appealing.

Well, Cathy.... not to be rude, but... no one said you had to open it. I believe the general consensus around here lately since Celia has gotten suspended has been "just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling..." Smiley winking

Typically if I see a title that doesn't interest me, or I might deem "dumb", I just don't open it. Why waste your time doing so, and replying with "this could very well be the dumbest post I have ever read on WW. Just sayin'", when you could be 2, 3 posts down enjoying something you might actually like? Just seems like a better use of one's time and energies... just sayin'

First of all, I don't give 2 shits about a "5th star", serious... TAKE IT!! I have ZERO effs to give!! I don't post to keep it... maybe that's why *you* do, but I don't.

Second, if everything I post seriously pisses you people off so much there is a simple solution to that.... DON'T CLICK ON IT!! Really, simple, yet SO effective Smiley smile

Third, I would NEVER tell a WW user or anybody else for that matter that what they "nothing they add has value". Seriously, that has to be one of the most effed up comments I have seen on here yet... and I've been on here for a bit. That is just beyond rude, into a whole nother territory of being mean and unncessarily cruel. I get that you don't like me, and that's fine... you don't have to, and I don't have to like you, BUT I try REALLY, REALLY hard to contribute to as many posts as I can, being polite and as helpful as I can. There is no need to be so hurtful to someone just because you can't see them. There IS another person on the other side of this screen, whether you can see them or not. And just because you obviously don't seem to have feelings, doesn't mean others don't.

FYI, I have 1165 COMMENTS to 235 POSTS in 5 YEARS! I think I contribute to others WAY more than I post my own stuff....

Also, I thought it was CUTE, and was wondering if anybody's animal had the same fascination... sue me.

WW Mods, we REALLY need an ignore button... for their benefit and mine!!

Nastassia, I'm sorry I don't keep up on what the daily thread things are, and *rarely* post in them. It was Sunday, he was playing with it. I thought it was cute/funny, and decided to see if anyone else had a pet who was "ring obsessed".... was that *really* SO damn bad I deserved to be told I have no value you, or I'm "fucking stupid"?? I mean.... seriously.

My cat loves anything metal and round. Don't ask me why. Push pins, scissors, and hair ties are his favorite. He tries to bite it when I'm petting him and when I take it off to shower, do dishes, ect. He jumps up to the counter and tries to take it! I've had to chase him down before to get it...

Out of curiosity why do you say "shit" but then "eff"?

FMW I guess what people are getting at is that you seem to post whatever crosses your mind kinda like we are all FB friends. NWR topics can be fun, but they usually elicit more discussion than this type of topic. i actually do see you post on other people's topics, which is great, but people here are looking for good discussion in general. That's why posts like "I got my invitations" get maybe a dozen comments versus "what should I do? What did you do?" posts get many many more comments.

You tend to post stuff that doesn't open the door for a lot of commentary and it's frustrating when there are 4 of your threads on the first page that are all like that.
