Anyone else have a bridesman?!

I have one! I plan on getting him a mailing version of what I got my girls. So far they have little zipper pouches from 31 and he's getting a navy one while they have teal ones. I'm finally them with wedding day emergency and his will just have more masculine stuff in it.

We have two bridesman! Both of them are my fiancés brothers.. Can I mention how much I love that I am not the only one that refers to them as such? We will be having our girls in navy blue short dresses and the guys will be wearing khaki pants, white button down shirts with navy suspenders and ties. We are coordinating them with the father of the bride as well. As far as the gifts go, we are going to get them engraved flasks. The girls are getting beauty kits with hair and face masks, nail polish, chapstick etc. I think it is going to come together really nicely. Oh! And I like your date

I actually would have. But he's been way too distant to even be invited to my wedding. I called him right after I got engaged and left him a voicemail. Keep in mind, he was one of the only four people I actually called up. He didn't get back to me 2 MONTHS later via text message. After that, I texted in a few times with no response. Actions speak louder than words, and I am very disappointed I had to cut him from my wedding. He was a great friend to me since middle school.

Anyway, I actually have seen a picture of bridesman with robes on. They only were a little bit on the masculine side. Not that it really matters, but maybe he'd more comfortable wearing a robe like that if he's gay. My would-have-been bridesman is gay and definitely would have up to wearing a robe. I can't see a straight guy getting into it. If he is straight, maybe a tshirt or tank would work? I really hate to talk like that, but that's just how I see it lol.

I'm having two bridesmen. No idea about gifts yet, for them or my girls. What is your FH getting his groomsmen? Maybe you could give your bridesman the same?

My brother is my Man of Honor. We are not doing robes so I can't really help you there. His attire will be the same as the other groomsmen; the only difference is he will be standing on my side.

I have lots of them, one just last night. I'm not a fan of the robes anyway, and I don't know one guy I'd give one to.....plus, he's probably not going to be getting ready with you, right?

a flask, cufflinks; what is his personality like? My GM last night got gift cards to a video game sight because they are all crazy gamers.

He wore the same color shirt as the GM, but a different tie.

My best friend from High School is a bridesman in my wedding!

I'm suggesting he wear the same as the groomsman but a tie that matches my wedding parties dresses. I think he may also carry a bouquet kinda as a comical thing.

I'm not getting him a robe or anything but he is welcome to hang out with us the day of the wedding or he can chill with the grooms men, up to him. Whatever he feels more comfortable with.

For a gift, maybe an engraved flask if he likes drinking, cufflinks, you could get his tie for him?

I'm not getting my wedding party gifts as my budget is too tight.

@MzRosaLu, my brother is my Man Of Honor as well! My colors are black, red, and grey. So MOH will be wearing a grey suit with a red tie. I got him a really nice watch so far, and I am thinking of getting him some cuff links or something sport-y. I may get him a backpack or tailgating cooler as well. Haven't really figured his gifts out yet.

For them I'm having them wear my color. Which is a lighter orange for their tie. And they will just have vests which will be tan as well as their pants

ETA they're getting ready with me and it's just wear what you feel like. IMO buying robes is just something you don't really need. I'm getting them a nice flask I think, with their names and man of honor/bridesman. We like to drink.

I have 5 girls and 1 bridesman, Im getting him a gift bag with just masculine things inside such and flask, shot glasses and his bow tie. Also getting him his favorite wine bottle. He is gay but I know he wouldn't want a robe to outshine the girls, more like sweats and a White T, which they have nice Micheal Kors or Calvin Klein sets at Marshals for like $25 ! If you have that store close to you! My colors are Black, White and Hot Pink so he is wearing black shirt with black pants with hot pink bow tie and white and black converse shoes! Hope this helped!

We had a dude of honor. We got both him and the maid of honor Swiss army knives.

But a man's robe should work as well. Or you could get him pretty much anything you'd use as a groomsman's gift.
