Anyone Else Graduating & Getting Married?

Me as well graduating 11/17 married 11/18

I have a friend from law school who did it. She figured a lot of family will be in town anyways, so no need for people to make 2 trips.

And you get the wedding "out of the way" before hunkering down to study for the Bar Exam.

I don't know what your exam schedule is like, but a DOC might be helpful to you so you can focus on your last tests for the days leading up to the wedding.

I graduate in May and get married in September. So not as close as you two, but yes it's been so stressful!

I'm kind of doing the opposite, getting married in June and (hopefully) starting med school in August. Lol

I'm not graduating, but getting married between 2L and 3L year. I know a few of the 3L's will be getting married this summer. I'd rather get married after exams 3L year because I'll be taking an easier schedule than the day after exams ended 1L year like one friend did.

I am graduating in May and married in November. Not as close as yours but I agree it is stressful.

@Alison: I have a good friend who did the same thing and got married between 2L and 3L! FH and I attended the wedding, then we accidentally stole their anniversary date (we are getting married the same day, a year later). Lol.

Hey date twin! My FH'S cousin did that. He graduated 2 days before his wedding.

Graduating this may and getting married august 18, 2018. Not exactly super close.

When I graduated from nursing school, a student from the business or education school went across the stage in a cap and gown with a wedding dress under it. I will never forget that. LOL

My original plan was commencement and wedding 1 week apart in May 2018 - now it is wedding April 15, 2017 and commencement May 12, 2017. I apparently like stressing myself out lol.

I got married during my

LLM program. When we were 3Ls, the bar exam coordinator told everyone not to get engaged, married, or pregnant 3L. No one did hahahaha. Everyone my year who got engaged got engaged the fall after the summer bar exam. I was in my program while engaged and it was tough! I couldn't have done it during a regular JD program.

I graduate nursing school July 27th, getting married 9 days later on August 5th!

I graduate in May..wedding is in September.

We were going to do July but I wasn't sure where I would be for my residency this last year so we chose September.

I'm getting married 5/19 and my grad school graduation is 5/30. Oh, and my birthday is 5/29. It's going to be a busy May!

FH graduates March 23rd, wedding is August 11th. He's basically been completely uninvolved for wedding planning since he's so busy, but promises he'll pick up the slack next month when he's done haha!

I'm graduating with my masters in nursing on April 29th and getting married may 13th!! Can't wait, it will make it all worth it since FH is graduating with me and we have been through the ringer getting this degree. Finally we will have time for ourselves (after boards of course lol)
