I asked fh if he wanted to do a choreographed dance like 1 we made up nothing fancy just fun, he's a party pooper and said no. I was like well that's not fun then I thought well I still can with my bridesmaids so I decided right after our 1st dance go into a lip sync concert type thing to whatta man...

Do you think it's cute or cheesy? Is anyone else doing a dance with fh or bridesmaids?

A lot of people will say things they don't mean to spare your feelings. Sounds like you want to do this, so do it. You don't have a lot of time to get practicing in.

Not a fan. They are always so awkward. I think the couple just slow dancing is way more intimate and romantic. Half the time with a choreographed dance you can tell the groom is concentrating really hard or counting.

FH and I are going to do a choreographed first dance, but that's it. My cousin had a super awesome choreographed bridal party dance, but her sister-in-law (also BM) is a dance instructor, so it worked out well for them.

It's not that I really want to do it but it's a way to say things to people without offending a person if you don't agree ok you opinion again everyone has one

Not a huge fan, but if it's done well and makes sense it could absolutely work.

I love choreographed dances! They're so cheesy and fun. We won't be doing one, but I do love watching them on YouTube

They are rarely done well and it's just awkward watching so that would have to be a No.

No. At least one of you doesn't want to do it and we don't want to watch, unless it's a couple on youtube that we don't know.

Coreographed dancing is very different than lip syncing and dancing, in my opinion

I bought a groupon for dance lessons for FH and I for the first dance - not choreography per se, but we've got a huge height difference and it would be nice to "practice" and to have some dips and spins (nothing crazy). Now that I've bought it he just has to go lol - he's not super excited about it but I think it will be fun.

I don't like the awkward/cheesy choreographed group/mob dances either. And lip synching is just awkward in general.

Neither of us are dancers and we took/are taking (last one next week) ballroom dance lessons. With the song that we picked, our instructor choreographed a hustle. It's not anything too crazy, but looks good - we would be really awkward without something planned. Plus the lessons are a fun date night. I am not doing anything with the bridal party - I would personally feel uncomfortable doing a dance with the bride and bridemaids if I was in a wedding party, but you know the personalities of your bridesmaids!
