Anybody use Publix for their flowers?

Mrslarson, on August 1, 2018 at 2:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

I'm going to do DIY centerpeices and I'm planning to just stop at a few publix stores to get all the flowers I need.

Hi there! I have heard of couples sourcing flowers from their local grocery store. Most stores have an awesome selection and Publix is one of them! You could check out Yelp or Google reviews to read about others experience with the floral department.

What kind of flowers are you interested in using?

I want to use hydrangeas, roses, babies breath and some greenery.

I'd just order online from Fifty Flowers, Flower Moxie, Sams Club, etc.

They ship them to you and can give you advice on how much you will need. If you know you want specific flowers its not very smart to just go to the grocery store the week of the wedding and hope they have them. I'd save yourself the hassle and just order online. They'll get shipped to you, you won't have to run around last minute stressed looking for what you want, and you'll be more prepared and get professional advice on how to care for your flowers.

I know and I see where you’re coming from because I’ve gotten quotes from those places. And although it’s more organized that way it’s also double the price as if I just get them from Publix. ☹️
