Anybody only wearing wedding band after wedding and not bridal set?

I’m thinking of only wearing a diamond wedding band after the wedding and not a bridal set. I’ve also seen women who keep their engagement ring as their wedding ring. Anybody else only wearing a wedding band after wedding? Or only an engagement ring? Or bridal set?

I wear both, but I did get a plain silver band that I can wear when the rings are at the jeweler's or in a situation where I the stones were in the way.

This reminds me I realllllly need to get this done this weekend! Yikes! I don't have mine yet, and haven't discussed daily wear wtih FH, but I'm considering only wearing band (simple bling) sometimes throughout week. I too have a fear of losing it so I wouldn't necessarily want to travel with e-ring either, we shall see.

    I'll be wearing both.

I don't really understand the fear of loosing it? Get it insured for diamond purposes and keep it on your finger.

I plan on having two wedding bands. I would like a diamond band that compliments my e-ring, however, I only wear my e-ring when I leave the house, so I plan to do the same with the diamond band and then have a less expensive thin band to wear at all times.

I inherited my great aunts cocktail ring that she reset from her original wedding, after my great uncle passed away. It will be my wedding ring. Im not wearing an engagement ring. We will get married , he will put it on my finger and i plan to wear it all the time.

We elected not even to have engagement rings. Our plain gold bands have the symbolism of showing we are married, but avoid our flaunting an expensive piece of jewelry wherever we go (making us a target for crime). I had an expensive engagement ring with my first marriage, and still have nightmares about that thing.

I plan on wearing both. I don't take off my e-ring at all. I wear it when I shower, sleep, etc. They are both extremely special to me so I couldn't imagine not wearing them.

I wear both. I would hate for my H to have spent as much money as he did on a ring that would only be worn for special occasions.

I plan on wearing both. We haven't picked out bands yet but know what I want and plan to wear them together. I think the only time i may not wear e-ring is if we travel. Not totally decided but that's my plan for now

Depends on the wedding band I choose, but I think I'll wear both most of the time. I do want a band that can be worn alone when necessary, though. @FurureMrs.L, insurance will cover the diamond for monetary purposes, but my stone is a family heirloom that can't really be replaced, so I'd definitely be upset if I lost it.

I'll be wearing my full set. I have a promise ring that I already wear with my engagement ring and our wedding bands match my promise and e-rings

I wear both. My band is curved and I think it would look a little crazy without the e-ring.

My discovered a while back that going to have to get my ering dipped ever so often. So after the wedding I'll wear it less to reduce how fast it wears.

@Emily, exactly!!! I have insurance as well, which is great, but it could never replace my original ring engagement ring that FH proposed to me with. Also as a teacher I wash my hands constantly throughout the day and it just might be easier to not wear the e-ring because of the raised stone daily. @QueenThompson, I'll keep you posted, LOL!

I plan on wearing my wedding band all the time and only break out the Ering for special occasions. My band is a 3 sided diamond eternity band, i can't wait to wear it, simple but sparkly! 8 more days!!!!

I plan on wearing both. My future hubby put so much time and effort into getting me something that fit my style, and though I'm not usually one for jewelry, I love it and I feel special wearing it. When I told him I was worried about beating it up (active job), he said he wanted me to enjoy wearing it every day and if we could get it repaired if needed Smiley smile To each their own though! I say do what works for you and your FH. Smiley smile
