Anybody Know Of A Good Fruity Wine For A Toast?

Soon To Be Mrs. Dunn, on April 25, 2013 at 2:45 AM Posted in Planning 0 25

Hi, ladies! I'm looking for a fruity wine that not dry and doesn't taste like beer. I heard of Beviamo Moscato D'Asti and Martain and Rossi but I never had them. I only want the wine for me and my fiance and the bridal party. It would be great if I can get some other names thrown at me. Thanks sweeties!

Have you tried lambics? They're technically a beer, but they don't taste like beer at all. I'm not a fan of wine or beer, and I really like lambics. Peach and Raspberry have been my favorite.

For a sweet red wine, (very sweet) try lambrusco. It's almost like a sangria.

For a really superb, sweet white wine, try conundrum (probably my favorite). It really lives up to its name, as it feels like it changes flavors as it rolls down your tongue.

Buy a bottle of each and enjoy the weekend.

P.S. Just remember... they say the sweeter the wine, the worse the hangover!

I only like sweet wines, and Cupcake is my favorite brand. Their Moscato is heavenly! I'm not a wine connoisseur by any means, but I know when something tastes good! Lol. Smiley smile

I'd say go with moscato because its a really sweet wine and a little bubbly. If it's for a toast, and the rest of the guests have champagne, no one will notice the difference. =) -- unless you want them to notice then there's also pink moscatos out there =)

If you go to a liquor store and tell them what you want they can usually give you some great suggestions. Dessert wines are often sweet and fruity. Moscato by cupcake is delicious just like Morgan said and cheap!

A good sweet fruity red is Jam Jar. It's good served slightly chilled. Chateau St Michelle Reisling is always a good call for a sweeter white. If you wanted a fruity sweeter champagne I love Martini Asti. It's really good and not too expensive.

Why not look for a winery in your area? We have 4 or 5 near us. One has it's own orchard, makes the wine from fruit they grow themselves. The wines are phenomenal.

Is this for a toast? Martini & Rossi is a good sweet sparkling wine, inexpensive, and great for a wedding toast. A non sparkling sweet wine that is also good is a Riesling. SAMs Club has some good choices that are affordable. If you go into Bev Mo and tell them your price range and what you are looking for they are very helpful. We do that quite a bit around the holidays.

My fav's are Asti & Lambrusco. The Lambrusco is just sweet enough, and not too dry.

Cupcake, any moscato or for SUPER fruity/or sweet i would highly recommend Stella Rosa wines. They are sparkling and their berry ones are very sweet. So even if you or your guests aren't used to wine they will loooove it.
