Anybody just want to be MARRIED already?

MrsF2B, on April 12, 2016 at 7:58 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 40

I'm so sick of planning things and making decisions about this stuff! Today, I went to the venue to pick out our linens. And I was holding two teal-coloured napkins in my hands and the wedding coordinator was asking which one I would prefer. And I couldn't tell the difference! They were both napkins! They were both teal! I drove out to Copper Cliff for this?

It's all starting to feel like teal napkins now. There are so many varieties of yellow flowers! There are endless ways to arrange centerpieces. That thing is fine. The other thing is also fine. I can have marriage now?

Am I making sense at all?

On the bright side, my MOH was thrilled with the idea of a recipe shower instead of gifts. So I'll have awesome new recipes in my files soon! That's a pre-wedding thing to look forward to!

OMG I'm so happy to hear I'm not alone!!! This is exactly how I'm feeling these days, and I feel so guilty about it. Everything that's left is crap NO ONE will care about but me but I'm stressed to the max and need to find some joy again. I just want to get to the good part!

I left a LOT of the decision making to my vendors. I told my florist to use her best judgment, I just wanted a fall palette. I told my baker that I wanted tree detailing on the cake (like branches), but aside from that, I don't care if the base is lined or dotted. I let my girls pick their dresses and what shoes they wore. I bought the only dress I ever tried on. I picked my top choice from a list of the best caterers in town.

It truly is choice overload. I picked the things that were important to me and left the rest to the pros. It saved me a LOT of stress.

If you feel like you are giving yourselftoo many options, just step back and let FH make the choice to alleviate you.

Yessssss! I know it will be here soon and I'll look back on it and laugh at the thought of stress, timelines, decisions, etc. just trying to enjoy it all and not take it for granted despite how stressful it can be at times lol

I still have over 6 months until we get married and I'm so ready for it to be over. It's all the little crap that's left to do and I just don't care anymore. I just want to be married to my love!

I am so ready for it to be over. I am in a wedding lull and haven't planned much. 5 months and 5 days to get my life back.

Ugh yes, and I still have a year to go!

I've told vendors that it is so important to me to find the right match because I want to take care of the most important details, and then literally show up on the day-of and not have to stress about it. Mostly kidding but I wish that is how it worked.

Last week my mom asked me like 5 times whether I wanted a light or dark colored wicker basket to hold our programs. I finally had to tell her IDGAF because honestly...IDGAF lol. I didn't even bother telling her that I think programs are unnecessary lol. She's wants them, so I'll do them...but do we really have to talk about it?!

Yep, every day. But I think after it is all said and done I will probably miss planning because of the excitement leading up to it.

Meee. Some times I'm just about to throw the towel in and go to the courthouse. But I'm planning on getting married once and it's going to be a great one!
