Me and FH are having part of our honeymoon at Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge in April! He’s never been, whereas my family goes every year so I’m familiar with the area. There’s TONS of stuff to do there so it’s mostly a matter of preference, like whether you enjoy a cozy, relaxed time in the mountains, or strolling around the town and doing activities


For places to stay, we got a gorgeous Airbnb with a view in Sevierville. I’ve had a lot better luck finding the best bang for your buck on Airbnb, and all my experiences with them have been positive!! Happy honeymoon planning!

Temperatures can vary quite a bit in October, and it’s much cooler up in the mountains. So I’d suggest bringing a jacket and some clothes for layering.
