Any Jamaicans here? I need a slow reggae father/daughter song

Been looking ALL day for the perfect song, so impossible. Most of the slow reggae songs I've found don't have suitable lyrics. My dad is very untraditional and wants to dance to a slow, short song and I thought a reggae song would suit us well. If I could only find one… forgot to mention, both my mother and father are Jamaican. Can't wait for the party!

    Thanks for the suggestions ladies. Those are too fast, he wants a slow song :/ Maybe Bob Marley High Tide or Low Tide. He actually wrote that one for his children. I'll give it a shot.

    You might want to check out the soundtrack to 50 first dates. There's a lot of really good reggae covers to popular 80s songs. I love reggae. That's a great idea.

    Chris Murray is anything but fast. Traditional island music doesn't get much slower, unfortunately.

    I have the same issue! My FH and I have Jamaican parents/family. We love our culture and would love to incorporate it. Would love different reggae song ideas!!

    This is exactly what I am looking for at the moment. It's surprisingly tough to find a suitable slow, family-friendly reggae song! Many of my favorites were either about romantic relationships, or just mention things that don't work lol. Going to try listening to these Beres and Chris Murray suggestions!
