Any ideas?

Jessica, on July 30, 2020 at 1:26 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
My wedding is in 10 weeks and I'm looking for ideas on photography. I had 2 . . 2 photographers cancel on me. One was family that was going to cover most of the reception and the other was going to cover before, during, and after the ceremony into the beginning of the reception. Now I have no photographers and I dont know what to do. I cant seem to find any replacements that are available or even close to my budget.

Reach out to a school and see if there are any amateur or photography students looking to make extra money. I'd also do a search on Facebook in some of your local area groups.

I agree with PP about looking for student photographers because they can be really good too. The other thing is if you go on things like craigslist there’s always photographers giving out free photo shoots as part of their way of expanding their portfolio

I'm so sorry Jessica! Is the local situation feeling unsafe, or has it just been bad luck?

I've tried filtering our local photography search for your area and wedding date if you want to reach out to any of them: Sioux Falls Wedding Photography (Available 10/10, Under $1,000)

Have you tried sending out a request through sites like thumbtack as well?
