Any ideas for wedding colors to match venue?

Alyssa, on November 11, 2017 at 6:25 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27

I am really struggling with coming up with wedding colors. The wedding is in 7 months and I have not been able to decide on colors so I am asking if any of you have any ideas for colors to go with the venue. Here is the site of the venue's picture gallery.

Any ideas of colors that would go with it?

Thanks guys!

I'm also using steel blue! But our guys are wearing navy. We are a winter wedding, though.

Beautiful venue. My wedding is the same weekend as yours and we are doing steel blue from David's bridal as well with blush and greenery. You can choose whatever colors you want, I think any would look good at your venue. If you have flowers picked out too that will influence your flowers.

ETA: you could also look at pictures of past weddings there and see what colors you like in the pictures.

Just use whatever colors you want. I mean if the place had bright carpeting or whatever, but I feel like anything would look good there.

    It's a neutral backdrop.

Do you have bridesmaids? Have you chosen dresses?

Do you have a favorite color as a starting point? Go to www.design-seeds.com

Click on a color you like and see the palettes they have developed.

Venue looks stunning! Looks like you could go with any colors you want. If you aren't partial to anything specific trying looking up color schemes for summer on Pinterest. Rose gold, pastel pinks, and navy are really popular right now. My wedding colors were lavender and mint with rose gold accents. Also keep in mind which colors may look good on your bridal party, you don't want them to be washed out in light colors if they are really fair.

My colors did not match the decor at my wedding venue & it looked just fine. Just thought I'd mention it.

I don't see anything about that venue that would clash with anything. You can use whatever colors you want.

Personally, I think dark, deep colors or bright colors (think jewel tones) would look great with your venue, or a combination of the two, like the couple in their photo gallery that did navy and fuschia. I would avoid light, pastel colors by themselves (I don't think the pastels would pop against this backdrop), but if you chose a pastel and a dark color together, that would be lovely.

Your venue is gorgeous! I'm jealous! Smiley smile

You can do any colour scheme you want and it will look amazing. I am getting a vintage feel from it though so I might suggest leaning in that direction. I'd look on Pinterest at different pallets but, as a starter try looking at lavender, rose gold, sage, dusty blue, peach or mint green.
