Any other ladies out there with a messed up.knee? I hurt mine doing a toe touch(cheer jump) about over a year ago and its miserrrable! It'll feel fine for awhile and then just bam hurt out of nowhere. And of course it starts hurting me and I forgot to bring my brace to Oregon so dad had to go buy...

Yayyy and I get to go walk a lot tommorow! But at least I'm getting to see big cats, that's worth all the pain in the world!

I have a sucky right knee. I used to dance up until my sophmore year of college and was going to major in it. But when I was in 9th grade I had my first dislocation of my kneecap and literally every other year or so my knee would dislocate and in 2005 it dislocated when I simply bent over to pick a shirt up. They told me if I dislocated it again that I would HAVE to have surgery on it. And when I got pregnant with my son, I gained about 50 lbs and my knee couldnt handle it and I was standing up combing my daughters' hair when it dislocated on me. I had to have surgery on it right after I had my son. So I had recurring patella dislocation. And they had to take my entire kneecap, move it to a lower point and its secured with screws. So sometimes it will lock on me and sometimes it gets so stiff and hurts.

@Tami P. if your knee is locking it's probably not your ACL, it could be your miniscus. When I tore my miniscus my knee locked and it was wayyy more painful than my ACL. Surgery was really not so bad it's the recovery that sucks. I'm allergic to anesthetic so I actually was awake during my procedures. Just had an epidural and a lot of sedatives. It was really surreal to watch what was going on.

@Tami P. that sucks! I highly recommend yoga. I can't do all the poses due to my knee, but I just make adjustments. I used to be a runner so I know what it's like to not be able to stuff.
