Oh my goodness we are the same!!! 10 years and 10/10/2020!! It has been a roller coaster!! Im just ready for it to be here!! 150 guest list is a final count of 113. I believe in taking precautions, but on MY day I refuse to let the stupid virus take over!!! I will have masks and sanitizer galore for anyone that would like it dont get me wrong but I will not be wearing a mask at my Wedding!! I've been waiting 10years for this!!! Anyway sorry end rant! 🤦♀️
🙋🏻♀️!! My fiancé and I are eloping (somewhere in the Shenandoah mountains) on 10.10.2020 and moved the bigger celebration (at our original wedding venue) on 10.10.2021! We pretty much finished all our wedding preparations before 2019 ended. We didn’t want to risk everyone’s health especially more than half of our guests are coming from different state or overseas so we decided to postpone the celebration at our fully paid venue. The intimate ceremony will be attended by our parents and my fiancé’s sister. I’m wearing a different dress since it would be difficult to hike with my wedding gown. I’ve always wanted to have a wedding overlooking the mountains but with a guests of 100 we opted to an estate venue. So now that we’re eloping I’m so excited that we’ll have the view that we’ve always wanted! I’m so stoked!🥰♥️ My two way gown (it has an attachable train)
I am here too! Still working on some florals and trying to lock down hair/makeup! Ugh.... Small wedding thanks to COVID, but it will still be special!!!
10/10/20 bride also (Michigan)! :-) My fiancé and I have been engaged since January 2019 and 10/10 is our dating anniversary, so it’s been really important for us to keep the date! We’ve downsized our guest list to wedding party and immediate family, but we are still so excited. Feels unreal it’s a little over 3 weeks away! :-)
10/10/2020 is the date for us! We had booked a beautiful venue this year for 175 guests, but had to change to small backyard wedding for less than 20 people. This pandemic has definitely made us rethink our plans a few times. We still plan to have a ceremony and reception next year but we chose somewhere a little more budget friendly for next year, realizing that things got way more expensive than we originally intended for our original plan.
I'm still searching for fun decorating ideas to transform my backyard and get the positive wedding vibes flowing. Decorating ideas are welcomed and appreciated!
Yay! I’m still getting married on 10.10, but I did have to change my plans. We postponed our big celebration to 10.1.21 but are “eloping” on 10.10.20! We will have our matron of honor, best man & one more on each side to help assist with the virtual option for our parents and for a helping hand with Reece (my dog / flower girl). 😊 Enjoy your day ladies & gents!
Me!! We thought about postponing but then decided to just down size from 300 guests to 36. I have to say a smaller wedding was secretly my dream lol! Congrats to all the brides!!
