I’m currently working with Anomalie on a dress for my wedding and they’ve been great about using all the inspo pics and details I uploaded and mentioned on the phone and via email to make my dream dress. Right now it’s just a sketch so I don’t have the dress yet but I do know that some dresses I used as inspiration were dresses they made that are from their past clients.

Hi! I've purchased my gown through Anomalie and it's in production now with an anticipated delivery date in February (eeeeek!). I knew from day 1 that I wanted to use Anomalie after I heard about them. I did the in person shopping and it was miserable. I'm not in plus sizes in street clothes, but I am in bridal which threw a whole unexpected and unpleasant wrench into the shopping experience. I couldn't try on anything because a bridal 12 is a street size 8.

I uploaded a TON of inspiration into my Anomalie look book and we very specifically talked through each component of my dress in the consult. They really guide you through the design process like, which photo has the neckline you want, which photo has the silhouette you want, etc. I made a few changes to my sketch after I got it back and am in love with what they created.

One bit of advice is that if you don't know exactly what you want, this may not work for you. I kind of wanted to tell my stylist a description of what I wanted (modern art deco, a little edgy, not traditional) and have them translate that into a design. That's not how it works. I had to show them the shape, details, beading examples, everything. So if you have a dream dress or specific inspiration, they should be able to re-create it.

I had some frustrations with communication along the way. I had to follow up a couple times on things like changes to my sketch, but after I sent the follow up email I got it turned around within 24 hours. Same when I was asking about the delivery date. They also originally told me I had until end of October to get my dress into production but then in August told me we needed to do it that month. Not a huge deal, but I didn't appreciate the change.

I'll keep you all updated along the way. For reference, I was in LOVE with 2 Zuhair Murad dresses and the back detail on the Haley Paige Sloane dress. I told them basically what I liked and to copy the beading between one of the two Zuhair Murad dresses and I'm glad they chose this one. I wanted some bling and a fit and flare dress but also a simple overskirt to have something more toned down for the ceremony. I wanted zero tulle (hard to do in bridal). They combined these into something uniquely me.

Hello so I was scrolling through forums and came across this one! I went with Anomalie for my dress and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! 😍😍😍😍. Below I’m going to post pictures of my sketch and me in my wedding gown. Now a fair warning, I am in the process of getting it taken in because it was a little big (weight loss 🥳) and also I just had teeth removed that’s why I look the way I look in my picture 🤣🤣

I went through Anomalie and honestly I was a bit concerned at first because I heard a lot of negative things, but my dress came out exactly as I wanted. I don't have a picture of me in it even though i've finished my final fittings. I was paranoid that FH would accidentally find it haha. I do still have the sketch though of what it will look like. I had my mom help me with the measurements and it literally turn out perfect the only thing I had added at my fitting was a bustle and i wanted to add more coverage on my back.
