I've never seen anything different than picking a song and having the DJ announce them. I don't really know what other options are.

Do all of your bridesmaids live near you? Or are some far away?

I've seen super cute boxes, letters, confetti push pops! I would love to invite all of my bridesmaids to dinner and ask them all at the same time, but they are spread out across several states Smiley sad

Here's a great post on asking your Bridesmaids from earlier this year:

I would not suggest announcing it publicly in front of a group of people. Being a bridesmaid is a huge commitment and that would put people in a position where they are potentially forced to say yes. I took each girl out, ordered us some champagne, gave them a handwritten note and that was it. The girls that didn't live near by, I just sent them the note and they called me when they got it.

I got these for $5 a pop from Etsy, inside was a tiny scroll asking them personally to be my bridesmaid/MOH. They absolutely loved it.

I did little pails with prosecco, a candle holder and candles, sea shells, little letters to each of them. I can't remember what else I put in them...

I also went for asking them in person or over the phone. If you do want to do something more, I agree with asking them individually in private rather that in public.

I bought them each a MAC lipstick and a cute card from Etsy. I know this isn't what you are asking advice on but imho, your date is still a bit away. A lot can change in one year. Unless these girls are all your relatives, I would wait until it's closer to. At least the one year mark.

I got my bridesmaids wine and made custom labels asking to be a bridesmaid. Please don't "announce" it at a party and catch them off guard. At least ask them privately first, and then you can announce it.

ETA - ditto Denise. Wait on this for a while!

I love all of the cute ways people are asking these days... but life got busy really quickly and while I was trying to pick a way to ask them all... time was flying by... so I ran out of time so I just asked them! lol

I made lockets and boxes to put them in with a note asking them to be my bridesmaid. They are all going to wear the lockets for the wedding.
