Someone on here asked about shaving/waxing/laser hair removal for the big day. Someone suggested an epilator. I decided to give it a try. It was $30 on Amazon, free shipping, so why not. Someone on here asked about shaving/waxing/laser hair removal for the big day. Someone suggested an epilator. I decided to give it a try. It was $30 on Amazon, free shipping, so why not. Well, IT IS AMAZING! I used it on one of my legs on Friday night to try it out, so I didn't get all hairs. But I haven't touched that leg, and shaved the other leg on Saturday. Sunday I already felt a prickle beginning on the shaved leg, and this morning you can notice hair from further away. The leg I used the epilator on is still smooth! There are some hairs left that were too short to be picked up from the first round, but you can't tell unless you are really close. It's basically an electric waxing/tweezing method. It pulls out all of your hair, as if you are waxing. I've never waxed before, but I didn't find this too painful. And I know over time it will be even less noticeable. Just wanted to share that I think it's awesome and it works! And a lot cheaper than razor heads these days!!

This is the one I bought. Looks slightly scary but you never feel the metal pieces because they just slightly open and close to grab the hairs sticking out. I guess if you press really hard you will feel it pinch your skin, but I never felt it hit my skin. The plastic clip it provides prevents that.

I am super interested now in one of these. I waxed my legs before but within 10 days,I had stubble. I don't want to pay $60 a month to get waxed. I am definitely going to look into this when I get home.

Woah. $60 a month to get waxed?! Then yeah, no harm in trying this out. Plus, you don't have to go out and make appointments, so it saves you time Smiley smile

Side note - If you have Amazon Prime they are now doing a promotion where if you select a slower shipping speed (still free) you receive a $1 credit towards your next book purchase! I selected the slower shipping twice. Once it was there in 3 days and once it was there in 5 days.
