Am I the only petty bride???

I'm always excited when I find out ladies I know are getting married and I'm invited to the wedding but I also get worried when the wedding is b4 ours that they may have similar or the same things at their wedding that we have at ours. My cousin(we're not close) is getting married 4/4/15 his colors are black white and red and my colors are black and white. I always say to FH I hope nothing about their wedding is similar to our because I would hate for her to think I copy her ideas and he always says " So what let them think that". Also my classmate is getting married in 10/25 and we have similar style and when I found out that she was getting married before me the only thing I could think of was her picking the wedding dress that I want lol.

Please tell me I'm not the only petty bride lol. Have you ladies ever felt the same way?

A whole flock of my friends got married the summer before I did-- 26 was the magic age for us!-- and I have to say, I noticed not one similarity between any of the weddings. There were cakes, flowers, dresses-- but if they were the same, I didn't notice, and if they were radically different, I didn't care. Your wedding will be unique just cause it's yours, so don't worry.

I'm attending 2 weddings in the States this year before my own, one I'm in as the MOH for my Godsister, one is for my cousin. I do wonder at times if there will be a bit of competition and comparing, but we all have different styles and colors and tastes so I try not to think about that stuff. In fact, I like having my Godsis to talk to about wedding stuff, cuz she gets it cuz she's going through the same thing.
