Alternatives to alcohol?

Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives to alcohol? We're planning a fall wedding and I'm thinking a cider/hot cocoa bar would be nice but what are some other ideas? Also what would be good for a toast instead of champagne? Is sparkling cider the best option? I know alcohol free weddings...

Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives to alcohol? We're planning a fall wedding and I'm thinking a cider/hot cocoa bar would be nice but what are some other ideas? Also what would be good for a toast instead of champagne? Is sparkling cider the best option? I know alcohol free weddings aren't too popular on here but some of the venues I've looked at are no alcohol and I personally don't want alcohol at my wedding due to some close family members who struggle with addiction. I'd rather have them and myself enjoy the day stress free than be triggered and worried Smiley smile I forgot to mention too that the hope is to have our wedding earlier in the day so the reception hopefully won't be going too far into the evening and we're not planning for a dinner reception.

I'm done with y'all. When people go out to dinner they like to have a drink. They're adults. Not have lemonade and coffee.

Let your guess know they will not be fed or have a cocktail, that why they won't spend hundreds of dollars on a gift.

I'm in Nashville and found so many no-alcohol venues, like more than half the places we've contacted (mind blown). So I understand that issue, but having an early reception I think you should try to incorporate hard ciders, pumpkin beer, or hard root beer. I love Amber woodchuck it's my go-to Fall drink. Best of Luck, and don't take anyone's advice personal......

I wish I were, we are having our wedding in Knoxville, TN now. Even with that search I contacted about 12 outdoor venues and 3 of them were no-alcohol and 4 were only beer and wine. But we like to drink we so want it all Smiley smile

OP If I read correctly you have some trauma based aversion to alcohol so that just knowing it's present would make you unable to enjoy your wedding?

I don't mean to be snarky but have you considered speaking to a proffessional about this? That seems a bit extreme. So many places have alcohol. Do you get stressed out in restaurants or at other peoples events where alcohol may be present? I really don't have a problem with a dry wedding if like others have suggested it's a cake and punch ie short reception but I don't know about your reasoning.

Anyhow. I hope it works out for you.
