Alternatives to aisle runners for outdoor wedding

Sheri, on May 18, 2020 at 10:29 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
I'm getting married outdoors next month and have been trying to figure out what to do about the aisle. There isn't any grass, it's more dirt and twigs leading up to the altar area so I don't really want my dress dragging through that. I thought about fake flower petals but I don't think those would do much good. Any suggestions?

How about a fabric runner? Idk what your theme or colors are but there are white ones, burlap ones, even mini carpets that are laid out to form an aisle.

We did a bunch of rugs. Petals was just kinda pricey and didn’t really fit our wedding’s aesthetics.

I had an outdoor ceremony and i did have a runner but i ended up not using it aha i just ended up walking through the grass. i do have to say that i think flower petals would look nice but you might trip on that too because they move around. my friends had a walk way at their reception that was purely real flower petals and people slipped on them
