Alternatives for what FG can throw

What about having her/them carrying a kissing ball instead of throwing flowers...just a thought

Some traditions have a "bell ringer" who rings a bell and yells "The Bride Is Coming."

I'm not big on that myself.

And, depending on what your venue allows and the age of your FG, she could throw some type of confetti instead of flowers. For instance small paper flowers.

Maybe she cold wave ribbons.

My 4 year old daughter is my flower girl. I expected her to love the idea of tossing flowers or confetti everywhere, but when placed with options she said she'd rather hold a small bouquet. Also, I freelance as a florist, and I did a wedding recently (also a church where they couldnt throw flowers) they went with small bouquets also.

The FG bouquets were really small, 5 roses with a little bit of filler, and a different ribbon from the Bride, MOH or BMs

this could work well with your theme also, each FG could hold a tiny spray of orchids for instance, or a small "bouquet" of artificial butterflies could be neat

She can hold a pinwheel, blow bubbles, wand with ribbons on it.

We are getting married outdoors at a golf and country club,

They do not allow flower petals, however due to the wedding being in the fall,

I have asked if it would be allowed for her to throw leaves down the aisle, and they are in accordance with that they even offered to pick up a basket of leaves for her on the day of. We are going with a fall themed wedding.

My FG's are throwing butterfly confetti instead of rose petals. Our theme is butterflies.

I'm having my FG throw dried leaves (we are having a fall/tree wedding) and I think it will be really cute.

She could hand out leis to the guests on the aisle seats? brightly colored paper confetti, bubbles may be a little difficult if she is really young (it might be hard to blow bubbles and walk at the same time for her if she is under 6 or 7 I'd think).

I wish we were allowed to throw anything, lol...and we found this out after we had mentioned to the little girl and she is so excited so she is carrying a little bouquet and giving a single flower to my mom and a flower to FH's mom as well! My little niece to be is just so excited!

This sounds weird but maybe have her hold a palm branch, like palm sunday and just take off a little pieces at a time and drop them? Or little sea shells? Gosh tropical all i think of is coconuts and sand haha!

Our theme is peacock feathers so our 2 Fgs will be tossing peacock feathers.

Does she HAVE TO throw something? Maybe she can just carry flowers and be herself.
