Alternative Ring Bearer Ideas?

Caroline, on April 19, 2017 at 5:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I'm very nervous to give my newly 4 y/o nephew ring bearer our actual rings, and I don't love the idea of him carrying a pillow... Has anyone done alternative ring bearer ideas? Have him toss flowers with the FGs?

You can put them in a case or box right before he walks down the aisle. It would be easier for a little one to carry.

    Give him fake rings.

Ring box... I saw one post about a little brief case which sounds adorable, but could turn out really campy-looking instead...

No ring bearer ever has the real rings. Usually the best man and/or MOH holds them . Go to Claire's and get some fake rings to tie to the pillow.

ETA: totally just read the no pillow thing. He could walk down with a "here comes the bride" sign

You could have him carry a sign

Have the MOH and BM hold the real rings. Either use a box, pillow with fake rings sewn on, or a sign

My son was 5 when my sister got married. She tied ring pops to a pillow for him to carry.
