Hey beautiful brides, does anyone know/remember how much David’s bridal charges you get a corset put in and for a dress to be shortened?

    Hem is going to vary depending on what all is involved; multiple layers, lace edging that has to be removed and then replaced once the skirt is shortened, etc., are going to cost much more than a simple hem on a one-layer, unadorned skirt.

    As the PP mentioned, the cost of alterations will vary from dress to dress, depending on the complexity involved. Based on the style of the dress, more hours may be put in to it to add a corset, etc.


    I would definitely recommend you reach out to the store to discuss the dress and what you would like done to get some accurate pricing for the alterations.
