Alterations update

So here is an update from my last post about my dress alterations. I had my appointment today and the seamstress was lovely. My dress is heavy and I discovered why. So there is 8 layers to that dress, yikes. There is an inner lining, 2 layers of Crinoline, 1 satin layer, 2 separate layers of tulle, 1 layer of all over lace, and finally a layer of fashion lace which is the scalloped edges. Geez, Haha. She will be taking up straps, sewing in cups, taking in at my hips, bringing up the hem which requires all 8 layers, and a bustle. The cost is around $425 and capped at $475. I'm happy with that price. Next appointment is July 18th
