How soon did you start alterations? I plan on calling the shop I ordered my dress from but I'm curious what other places do. I went and tried on my dress Monday and they said I have plenty of time for alterations so I'm unsure if I should go in today or not and meet with the seamstress.

    I have my final fitting next week which will be 2 months and some change before my wedding

    They told me to schedule the first fitting in August and my wedding is in November.

    I was told 11 weeks to be safe since May is a busy time. So my first is Feb 20th
