Dedicated April 2020

Almost 27 days out

I wanted to elope but he said its very important for our families to be there and now our weddings 28 days away and not only with my family not be there but only 3 rsvp cards came back ! The deadline was 3 days ago !
However the reason my family cant come is understandable ! But it still hurts! My mom moved to texas because her boss offered to pay for her cancer treatment if she did, Texas has the best cancer center in America. She has custody of all my nieces and nephews and my 4 year old nephew for attacked by two dogs and is icu and has been awhile now and not getting out anytime soon. So she cant come which means her kids who were my bridal party cant either. Then my daughter and oldest niece who I consider a daughter had to fly up there to take care of the other kids because my mother cant leave the hospital so they wont be there either. My daughter could possibly come if I pay 320 for a plane ticket and she flies right back the next day but we dont have that . Because oddly enough my son just got out the hospital. He had to be given 4 liters of blood and we were there a bit. So spending money on food and stuff with none coming in hurt! I'm trying to be excited but honestly who can be excited with all this happening ? I'm trying to not bring my fh down also but I really dont want thos wedding without my family or atleast my daughter. Everything's paid and nothing is refundable so changing the date is not possible. And his family is flying here and already made plans to come. I'm just depressed about it so bad.

    This is horrible, so sorry.

I think since you have nonrefundable deposits down, go ahead with the wedding with those who can make it. When everyone is in better health, maybe you can do a celebration or vow renewal with them.

Someone agreed to do facebook live so she could watch . I'm hoping the reception works good ! I knew she couldn't come for a bit now so we had already planned that part out. But my daughter and niece I really want here. But only one can leave the other has to stay behind to watch the other babies. So were saving hoping to make it happen in what 26 days shell have to fly out but it's not looking so good so I just needed to vent to someone. Because i cant stop crying thinking about it all. And i dont like to air all my business out on facebook . Everyone knows about my nephew fighting for his life but not that we sent my niece and daughter up there to help. Because then you get all the questions and I'm just an emotional wreck to answer everyones questions.

I been asking him if we could go to Texas after the wedding and after we save up money and celebrate with my family . But he cant take off since he works the emergency room department and already took a week before the wedding and the week of the wedding. But, I do hope to go there soon not just to celebrate our marriage with my family but to see my nephew at the hospital ! I've never been away from them until now. They left a few days before Thangisgiving and I'm still trying to adjust. Those kids are like my kids. My mother and I both team worked to raise them now shes in Texas alone and I just want to be with her and them.
