Allure Bridal Lead Times

I ordered in late April

And received my dress in July. I've noticed in other posts that that seems to be the quickest and others have waited a while longer. I imagine it all depends on the dress as well.

I ordered mine in January, and it arrived in late June, so about 18-20 weeks. Waiting until October might be cutting it a bit too close, or else you could end up paying a bundle in rush alteration charges.

I would suggest contacting a salon that has Allure to be 100% sure. You may be cutting it close, especially if alterations are needed.

I wouldn't wait until October. I just bought my dress at the end of June. Otherwise you might not have enough time for alterations

Thanks, all! My favorite is style 2908--a ballgown. Any experience with a ballgown taking more or less time in alterations than say a more fitted gown?

I ordered mine in late January. The bridal shop I purchased it from said it's projected to ship around August 1st. My mom and sister (MOH) live out of town and the owner at the bridal shop I purchased from let me come back in with them a month later to try the dress on for them while they were in town.

I ordered my Allure Ballgown (9161) on October 11th, 2015 and it came in on February 2nd, 2016. My wedding is on September 4th, so I actually had my first fitting yesterday. I'm not the smallest of women, but amazingly my dress fits perfectly and only needs to be hemmed. My second fitting is scheduled for August 3rd. I hope this helps to give you an idea about the timeline, but just to be safe, I would check with the bridal salon you end up purchasing the gown from.

I ordered mine in January and it didn't arrive until May. Don't forget you have to leave time for alterations!

@Samantha- that's a great idea! @Space thanks for the heads up! Hoping for minimal alterations but you never know.
