I just dropped my dress off with the seamstress to add little cap sleeves. She told me because it’s a long train and 7 individual layers of tulle that we can’t bustle and recommended I tuck it and secure with a clip or pin…. This doesn’t sound right please help. Allure Aurora bustle help! 1

Tulle is not strong enough to hold up the weight of the train in a bustle. Some trains have a stronger underlayer material that might permit a loop to hold put around your list, but it does not look like your dress has that layer either.

You absolutely can bustle tulle, my friend had it done for her wedding. It was just really complicated because you have to have multiple points of attachment. They attached small buttons and fabric loops to different layers underneath, and then the top layer they pulled up and around to attach at the seam around the waist for more support. It was expensive and complicated, and we definitely didnt do it right on the day-of, but it's possible.
