My wedding is on April 25th!!! And guess what, I have not done anything yet besides hired my venue!!! I feel like there’s some anxiety going on with me about this wedding!! 😭😭 Possibly also because I have to take care of my Little One (soon to be 22mos old) all day long. She sometimes needs more attentions than I expected.

I have to really work on gathering my Bridal Party, so hopefully I can get some more help from them and not have to put everything on myself. Otherwise, I will need to breakdown more than I already had. 😔 One side I am excited, but at the same time I am stressed. Too much mixed feelings and emotions going on in me. I feel like I am the only one that’s going through the prepping process like this. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wish! We are getting married in Charleston so it's made everything that much more expensive! I'm a teacher and wanted to get married the Saturday of my spring break so I could have the week off to get whatever little stuff done. I honestly didn't even think about it being a holiday weekend (or look at the calendar) when we decided on our date. We love our venue though and that was the only spring date they had available so it all worked out!

The only crazy part for us is realizing we can’t be married in the church which isn’t a problem for us but our parents were slightly upset . What can ya do.

April 4 2020 as well!

So far we have my dress, venue, cake, food, dj, floral and decor vendors (havent picked details yet), wedding bands lol, honeymoon, photographer, cinematographer, photobooth, and my mom got her mother of the bride dress!

This weekend we are going bridesmaid dress shopping! So excited!

still need groom/groomsmen attire, invites, flowegirl attire, signs for the wedding day, makeup artist, and we need to purchase the booze!

Looks like I am the first 4/24 bride!!

Got the dress, got the venue, photographer, and DJ.....

Right now I am looking into videographers and I am so stuck. I can't seem to decide. If anyone has free time and wants to chime in on your favorite....... I wouldn't mind the help.....

April 18th 2020 BRIDE ❤. I was just recently engaged in June so getting married in April seems like it is extremely close, but fiance didn't want to get married in the summer when it is way too hot. We decided on April and praying hard for no April showers!!!
I've got my dress, we've booked the venue, and I have my photographer. We have picked out the color scheme we will go with....mint,blush,and gold. We have worked on a guest list, but we don't have it finalized yet. I guess the next thing to do is to decide on our reception meal so we can start paying on that. The venue will cater the reception. I will pay off my dress in the next two months and go for my first fitting in December.
We still need to order STD's and wedding invitations, take engagement photos, find someone to do cakes, and DJ. My aunt will be doing the flowers and most of the decor.

Hey! We're getting married April 26th 2020!! I'm basically done with everything! I've ordered my dress, got the DJ, picked our florist, transportation, photographer, took our engagement pictures, found the officiant, booked our honeymoon, and I purchased his band. I'm now working on buying the little things to pull my vision together and paying everything off 😩 lol

I'm April 17! I'm still pending cake, ceremony music, mariachis, bridesmaids gifts, honeymoon and floral. I'm thinking of ordering a reception dress from Azazie.

I'm April 4, 2020. I basically got my venue, photography, save the date invitations out and went and found a place for the bridesmaids to get there dresses. I still have a lot to do. Me and my fiance paying for our own wedding.

Wow...April 18 is a popular date!! We initially wanted 4/25, but it was booked already so we settled with 4/18/20, but the more I hear the date, the more I love it. It's just so...nice and even. I love that about it. LOL. So far, we've booked our venue, wedding coordinator, caterer/bar service, photographer, DJ, photobooth, a solo violinist, officiant, cake, plus I got my dress and we took engagement photos.

This next month I will try to confirm the florist and linen person (is there a correct term for this vendor?) and hopefully finalize the website so I can send out our 'save the dates'.

I also want to start looking at bridesmaids dresses very soon, as well as get a hair and makeup trial. Sometimes I think I'm doing things too early, but I like to stay ahead of the game. I really love staying organized, so this has been a fun process so far. My excel sheets are updated. My planning notebook is full of notes. I'm just like 'ok, what's next?'!

I keep hearing that, too, that it's "too early", which honestly for an organized, by-the-book, ultra prepared person - its never too early!

Wow, you guys seem very proactive! My date is April 4, 2020 as well and I just recently confirmed the venue and ordered save the dates a few days ago! The venue we chose already has most things inclusive, so I really do not have to make as many decisions. We have a photographer, food, hair and makeup, and lodging for out of town guests.

I am going dress shopping this week, so I am hopeful!

Also, if anyone has any good DIY inspiration, send it my way! I am wanting to do a lot of things my self to keep costs down.

We've booked our Venue & DJ. We've done a tasting with our caterer and will be finalizing that sometime this week. We have a photographer and officiant lined up, but we just need to talk more and finalize details.

Dress shopping is scheduled for August 10th.

Other than make some decisions on what kind of decor I want, that part hasn't really been started yet. I know my flowers are going to be made out of book pages and that my centerpieces are going to involve stacks of hardback books and lanterns.

I'll also be designing and printing my own invitations & RSVP cards. Save-The-Dates will be a Facebook event (except for a few older relatives that don't use facebook).

April 4, 2020! And we have a venue and that's it!! :/

My date is April 12, 2020!! I've got everything booked oo only thing left I have to work on is ordering the cake, making my bouquet and getting my decor made!!!

Hi everyone! Our date is April 17 and we’re almost done signing our contracts with the vendors. We only have the cake lady and photographer/videographer left to sign with but we know who we want. I still haven’t figured out what hairstyle I want as I’m torn between updo or down. Our wedding isn’t the traditional wedding for either of our cultures so we’re trying to figure out a looootttt of details that normally don’t go into either wedding if we were to marry in our own cultures. But thankfully there isn’t a lot of stress since we’re more focused on us and not so much on how everyone else views things. Congratulations to all you beautiful couples!
