All of my April 2020 Brides!

I’m April 4, 2020!! What’s your date? We have florist, photographer, venue, hair and makeup, dj, and some decorations that I’ve been collecting. I’m looking at officiants and caterers now but think I have that narrowed down. There is sooo much to do the check list can seem overwhelming for sure! I’m dress shopping in a couple weeks, cutting it close I know, but I’ve been actively trying to lose weight and have been so nervous about looking that I put it off. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. Congrats to you! Yay for April!

View Quoted Comment April 25th! I have mostly everything but decorations and flowers. I said yes to the dress last week! Girl don’t worry about losing a ton of weight. You can go down about four dress sizes, it’s just harder if you were to gain a bunch of weight. I was super self conscious about my weight but ended up looking great! I got my dress in a 16W and didn’t feel like it! Would be more then happy to send pictures privately lol

I’m an April 11! So far we have all the big stuff (venue, photographer, caterer, cake, flowers, dress, music). I still need to do the little stuff. I’m working on making a backdrop for the altar out of picture frames!

April 18!! We have venue, guest list, my dress, bridesmaid dresses, flowers (DIY), photographer, did engagement pics, ordered save the dates, and have bought most of the decorations or the materials to DIY them! We still have to order tuxes, do our menu tasting, and get my dresses altered when it comes in!

We have all the major vendors booked and mostly paid! I’m just doing some DIY stuff now like seating chart (making it, not putting names on it yet), signs and guestbook. I got my dress already. Next up will be picking out invitations because we will be purchasing those in OCT. as we are sending them out in January since we’re doing a “destination” since it’s about a 3-4 hour drive for our families. I feel like I’m way ahead of it, but the end of the year is always so busy with holidays and I’d just rather have it done and checked iff the list.

April 9th here! So far we have venue, bakery, DJ, florist, photo booth, hair, makeup, honeymoon, and my dress!

April 18. Since mine is a small wedding, I dont really need to do a lot. I do have the church, venue, and wedding dress. I am looking at bouquets and diy signs. The venue comes with everything, even the cake. Things I want to add, it actually wont be a lot. I'm hoping I dont stress too much, but who knows lol

April 25th here!! We have our venue, officiant, DJ, just ordered save the dates, room blocks are set up, I have my dress, photographer, hair and make up, and the honeymoon is booked. We are discussing catering with our wedding planner soon. She is so helpful! She’s been giving us things to do in three’s so it’s been pretty easy and not stressful at all. AND she’s been working with FH’s family for the rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch!

April 4th here. Everything is done but his tux and our boys tuxes. And then we haven't officially ordered our cake yet but I have picked it out and talking to the lady whose going to make it. Were meeting in February. I just sent out my side of the family save the dates and sending his out when I get the addresses from him. Hes super forgetful lol .

Ours is April 25th! So far we have booked our photographer, musicians, officiant, cake, florist, planner, and I've gotten my dress. We're planning on sending out Save-the-Dates next month since his family is from out of town. We still haven't even thought about our honeymoon yet but hopefully we can go somewhere nice!

I'm shooting for April 25th. We've picked the venue just have to confirm reservations. I've also completed guest list and picked out invitations. Started looking at some decorations. Haven't even thought of the dress yet. I feel like that is going to be the hard part for me.

Hello April 17, 2020 is our date. We have the venue dj, officiant, caterers, my dress, make up artist, and hotel stay for the night before. My two major things I need asap is a photographer, and florist. This is so hard to find the photographer in my budget because we are being realistic on what we can afford but we still want great service.

I'm April 4th, 2020 (who doesn't love a symmetrical date?) So far we have our wedding planner, photographer, videographer, rentals (tent, etc) and DJ as well as my dress. We just finished up our wedding website and registry on Zola which we have been loving!!

Up next we are looking to settle on a caterer and a florist within the next few weeks as well as look at hair and makeup.

April 25 2020. Got my dress, his ring and the flowers

I’m April 26th! I have so much done I’m sure I’ll forget some but here goes!

-photobooth booked
-wedding bands purchased
-dress and shoes/accessories purchased
-Wedding party asked
-registries made
-e pics done, save the dates mailed, wedding website finished for now
-cake tastings scheduled
-purchased decor, finished DIY centerpieces, purchased most everything needed other than cake cutter/server
-FG and RB asked
-bridesmaid and flower girl gifts purchased
-reader and photo guestbook helper asked

Biggest task to tackle now is bridesmaid and groomsmen attire (we have chosen everything just no purchases made yet)

April 18th 2020 is our date. We have some decorations the dress and venue. I’m doing my flowers myself. We still need a caterer, photographer, and dj.

Venue/Caterer, Photographer, DJ, Florist, Save the dates (being mailed out now), Invitations, My dress, Hotel accommodations in place, Officiant Secured.

We still need the bridal party to purchase there attire and the weddign rings.

I am so glad that everyone else seems to be on my page since many people are telling me I am doing things to early.

I'm April 18, 2020. For us, venue is booked, caterer is booked, dj and photographer is booked. We aren't having a florist so that is out. Cake is secured with baker. Somethings we still have to do:

1. Pay off the venue (like, pay the balance owing)

2. Get my dress and FH get his clothing (as well as wedding party)

3. Gotta figure about what I'm going to do with my hair and makeup, gotta book those

4. Still get a few more addresses for my wedding guest spreadsheet

5. Invites

6. Figure out where we'll be going on our honeymoon

7. Gotta book the officiant

Pretty much all the major things are out of the way. I'm sure I'm missing some of the minor details, but it'll come back to me later!!
