View Quoted Comment No way do I want to be the only responsible for cooking, cleaning, and taking care of children (if or when we have them). I grew up with my mother having to clean and do laundry every spare minute after work while my dad watched tv. I had to help her clean too. I'm talking on my hands and knees at a young age. She taught me to do my own laundry when I was 10. As a child I kept thinking this is bs my dad didn't help. So in adulthood I knew I would not stand for it. It's fine for others but for me it feels like I'm taking care of a grown child then they want to have sex. Not sexy at all.

My mother in law is pretty chill and kind hearted so I'd say that's nice. But then we also have starkly different qualities too

View Quoted Comment I think a combination of little things, for example she wanted nothing to do with online payments and autopay options and I prefer online and autopay when possible.
