All lowercase wedding invitations?

I'm designing and printing all the invitations for my wedding and I'm planning on mailing them next week (don't worry it'll only take me one day to print everything once I finalize the design!)

My parents and FH think that the proper nouns on our wedding invitations should be capitalized.

While I understand that's proper grammar, I'm looking at this from a design point of view. This look fits our wedding style. And all lowercase letters to me seem elegant and modern, not to mention everything is roughly the same height. I don't want to find a new font because this is the font that will be on the programs, wedding signs, and other stuff (also, I've searched high and low for another font that I like and have come up empty-handed).

My parents and FH said it's up to me, but I don't want our wedding guests to think I don't know proper grammar. Will people really care if I use all lowercase letters?

All lowercase is more casual to me, not more elegant. I think the font is cool but as others have said, hard to read. I would suggest doing 2 fonts- the more unique font for your names, and an easier-to-read font for the details. That's how we did our invites and programs.

It was hard to read the font Smiley sad the lowercase seems more child invite than wedding invite.

I love the font! I would keep your names in that font and choose a more legible font for the rest.

I agree with the 2 fonts! I don't have an opinion on the lowercase letters (although I know FH would want it to be capitalized properly lol).

I didn't read all the comments.. but I REALLY don't think that all lowercase looks "elegant" or "modern". Putting capital letters in there is NOT going to ruin the tone or theme of your wedding... come one now....

I would put proper capitals. Also, from a design point of view.... there is too much of that squiggly font. The invitation is very hard to read. I would put some more basic fonts in and maybe just do your names in that curly font. All the font being the same is too much, hard to read, and actually looks very casual... not elegant. Just my honest opinion!

I love your invitations! Your design is simple but so elegant so I would definitely keep the lowercase lettering!

I attached mine to show the cursive and another print. Lds weddings generally have an announcement card and separate reception card, so this one is my announcement but it should still make sense template wise.
